Experience Through Their Eyes

Best pizza on the planet, personally I drive to Burlington from Boston literally just to eat this pizza. You might find yourself scrolling through these comments and wonder why grown adults write one star reviews that don't actually reflect the business. It's a shame the people of Burlington don't throw this pizza shop a parade every year, they really don't know what they have. If you want to experience the best darn pizza you've ever had, I suggest you get there and try it. A true food enjoyer would never scoff at a $60 pizza, just like they shouldn't scoff at a $60 Applebees meal, food is food. Get the pizza, the salad and whatever dessert they've got and enjoy one of the truest most genuine meals in America.

We were a little afraid to come at first because of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! Pizza by far is the best we've had in New England! All the ingredients were fresh and high quality! We could see them slicing our prosciutto on site. The atmosphere was really nice, the decor is great, everything was clean, and just had good vibes overall. We sat next to a kind couple from Boston who loved the place as well! Our waiter was polite and everything came out in a timely manner. The place was lively, and had customers in and out the entire time! The owner acknowledged us when we entered and said goodbye and thank you when we departed! They are very upfront about pricing and how to order, so it wasn't a surprise. Overall it was a great experience!

Back again, for our third trip this year from Maine. It is hard to find another restaurant that cares as much about the food they are putting out as Ida does. We finally got to try a sandwich after all these years and it was the real deal. My girlfriend and I fought over who got the leftover half we took home this morning. We had a Brooklyn pie which was my first time having that as well and it's my new favorite. Paired with the Barolo (for only $15 more than retail mind you-a $500 bottle anywhere else) it made for an excellent dinner combination. The pumpkin pie sundae was phenomenal, coming from two people that don't like pumpkin. I'd have it again any day out of the week. Clearly, they are offering a full experience here, which some people can't seem to comprehend due to lack of dining etiquette or inability to follow basic instructions. This is a true gem that stands out in the northeast and the passion they put in their food remains unmatched. I wish it was closer to Maine so I could justify more regular visits.

Amazing food and service. Quality ingredients that you just can't find anywhere else. Love the pizza, subs and desserts. Amazing environment, and who can't enjoy eating dinner while listening to the finest tunes from the good ol' Grateful Dead. If you find yourself in Burlington, come by Ida to taste the taste! Absolutely phenomenal restaurant.

I love Ida. The food is great, and I find the owner welcoming and proud of the food he puts out. Someone who stands on quality is good in my book. The flounce is real, and the quality is there. If the price hurts you, you have other options, but if quality is your MO, it is well worth it. Love that he calls out the VT people for a vast majority of what they are.

Hands down BEST pizza in Vermont and best pizza I've ever had. The crust seriously has flavor, crunch, and is chewy! You won't leave your crust on the plate! Dan runs his place the way he likes and you order off the menu, no substitutions, a few add ons, and you won't be disappointed. All the haters out there just wanna hate cause his pizza is the best. Menu changes frequently and produce is fresh and local!
